So much better than the cheap ones in the store. Nice and soft, great for stainless steel pots, and the soap dispensing hole in the sponge is a great feature. I barely use the dishwasher anymore. I suggest buying another with the more aggressive pad too. I keep both in the sink and its made an annoying chore much easier. The soft sponges easily conforms to where you need it go - like the bottoms of tall glasses. For the first time - like ever - i just keep up with the dishes (for months now) because it works so well.

This hand-held dish washer is another wonderful product from OXO. They truly think about design to make excellent, sensible, functional products. I love you OXO.

I used to use another brand but they changed the texture on the outside of the sponge and I felt it was not cleaning my dishes well. This is a basic sponge, no fancy new texturized finish. Cleans well and rinses well after scrubbing pots and pans. Love that I can press the back and release extra soap as needed. The wand part is designed to fit well in your hand. I've ditched the old brand and bought extra sponge heads for this one.

So I like the concept of this but I feel it could be designed a little bit better. It sometimes leaks out soap while using and I wish the sponge was a little bit stronger. I like to use this in my shower.
