These are super nice shorts for under dresses to help prevent chafing. These are super silky and will smooth tummy bulges (not shapewear smoothing, just smoothing because of the material). Anyways I bought one pair and decided I needed a 2nd just in case, so I guess that means I recommend them. They are super stretchy, great quality, the material is just the right amount of thickness. You could wear these with or without underwear underneath.

The stitching and elasticity are great and these have a nice tall waistband that is stitched on separately, so I don't have any issues with them rolling down from the waist. The fit, however, is way off and doesn't consider a plus-sized person's proportions. The length of the short is even-length (from the gusseted crotch) all the way around, so when I pull them up over my behind... the back of the shorts is much shorter (by inches) than the front and the in/seams roll upward over the curvier parts of my inner thighs creating an unsightly thicker rolled seamline/hemline that is visible through clothing. Imagine wearing a skirt that is the same length all around - the back lifts and requires extra length, especially on a curvier person - that is the issue I am having with these shorts. The waistband dips downward in the back, and the shorts aren't long enough in the back. I won't be able to wear these as any sort of undergarment, liner, nor smoother as a result. The seamlines should be lengthened on the inner thigh and the fabric should be extended upward/downward in the back to accommodate for the curves. That being said, the fabric is wonderful and quite comfortable. As the rolling upward from the thigh hemlines worsen with sitting down, I will likely use these for movement around the house as they feel quite sweat-wicking for days when I am on the treadmill or cleaning.

I was pretty excited to receive these slip shorts. I bought the two pack that consisted of the nude and black color. I usually wear these under dresses during the summer since my wardrobe tends to be linen and dresses. I wanted to try these out tonight so I wore the black pair under a very long and oversized sweater that covered my backside to take the dog on a walk. They were so cute and functional and the black pair could pass for yoga shorts. I was able to bend over and pick up after my dog without the shorts shifting or the waist band rolling down. They are truly the perfect length (they came up about mid thigh) so that they stay put and don't ride up when your walking and the scalloped edge is a great detail!My only complaints are that the nude slip shorts are still very transparent and you can see your undergarments when wearing them. Also, I think they run smaller size wise and I sized up since I don't like snug fitting clothing. Even while sizing up, I felt that these shorts were snug and compression like.I live in a hot and humid climate and depend on base layers to wick away moisture and keep me comfortable during the awful (and long) Texas summers. I definitely will repurchase more when the need arises!

I bought a pair of linen pants that are slightly see through and these are the perfect solution. They are not super tight, definitely not shape wear, and there is no rolling at the waist band or thighs. The fabric is nice any slippery so the pants don’t stick to them at all. I might have to get a second pair since I can see these being useful in a lot of situations.

Buy this for the comfort, and you'll be thrilled. These shorts are a feminine and seamless undergarment for dresses and skirts. They will be perfect as a stand-alone underlayer in warm temperatures. In the winter, I wear these over my tights to ensure my dress does not stick and ride up.The elasticity is very light. This is not shape-wear. As comfort-wear, this will not make you overheat under your sundress. If you've worn shapewear under a summer dress, you know what I mean: you look great, but you're dying inside.
