I was looking for something that would pull double duty as rice paddles and salad tongs and these do just the trick. Nothing fancy, but these are sturdy and their simple looks go well with everything.

What I like best is that you get 2 of these scoopers. Once a week we make salad for dinner with lots of different ingredients – lettuce, cheese, diced ham, croutons, shredded carrots, cucumbers, bacon bits, etc., etc. Having two scoopers makes it easy to serve the salad while retaining the layered mixture. We also make lots of rice and mashed potatoes dishes as well as things like lasagna. Great for scrambled eggs too. These easy to clean plastic scoopers allow large portions to be scooped at once – can be used individually or combined. The handles have finger grip indentations that provide good control – no slippery twisting when serving. And they have a hang-up handle hole – nice touch. The plastic scoopers are NOT tagged as dishwasher safe – hand wash – the slick surface makes cleaning easy.
