I had previously owned a set of plastic mugs that I had thought filled an empty spot in our cabinet but once we started using them, we became very unhappy with them. Rather, my husband became unhappy. You see, I'm an old fart who doesn't mind handwashing dishes but he is a devoted fan of the dishwasher. So, when I became unable to hand wash the mugs and he started complaining because the mugs are put in the dishwasher upside down to wash and when they were being removed, their bottoms had a lip on them that collected water in them and as you removed them from the machine, they poured the water out. So I searched for a mug without that feature on the bottom and now my husband is a happy hubby once again No more water collecting in the bottoms of the upside down mugs. Our son and his wife took them and I hope they don't mind the collected water.

Purchased for my grandchildren who love my root beer floats. They are great and the plastic mugs make it easy for my smaller grandchildren to hold. Definitely worth the price.

They need to put a huge warning on this product that you should not wash it with anything other than a soft cloth or sponge a Teflon sponge scratches the whole thing. Fortunately I only made the mistake once out of 50 so I ended up having to throw one out and now I know how to wash them. They made the Oktoberfest
