welp, this is my second choice but to be honestto have 40L bag its best to get the 50-70 litre size to allow for expansion. havent used it yet but i am expecting to be in a bomb cyclone i will need this to save my hide.do wish the green was more refelctive and the thing will have to be strong. otherwise itsnice for themoney.

I took a gamble getting this but it fits the 100L kingsgaurd rucksack perfectly even with a ground pad between the top lid-pouch and the sack.

Used this when hiking in the alps and it kept our pack clean and dry. I debated having the straps, but they were very helpful in keeping the entire pack covered. Keep in mind when ordering that when the pack is full you might need a slightly larger size. I ordered the size that would fit the pack, but with water bottles and the front pockets full I really needed the next size up.

For the price, this is a great little backpack cover. I never purposely hike in the rain, so hopefully I won’t even need to use it much. In the past I’ve had to put my raincoat over my pack and myself, making me look like a turtle and not being able to close my raincoat. So I’m glad to finally have this cover for emergencies! I tested it under the faucet and water just beaded up and ran off. I got the small size even though the extra small would have fit my pack, but I wanted extra room just in case. I think this will be perfect for the off chance I get stuck in the rain on a short hike.
