This was very easy to put together....did it with our 12 year old son and it took about 15 minutes. We did have an issue where one of the uprights would not go into it's receiver. However, upon inspection I could see that the plastic insert was covering one of the metal "partial-punch-in". I took out the plastic insert, trimmed about a quarter inch off with a regular scissors, reinserted, then the upright slid in just like the other side. This is easy to adjust and it feels very safe. I'm 6'1" and about 190-lbs.

This is a heavy package, it came with a hand sized hole in the box. I used that whole to throw it over my shoulder, no inside damage or missing parts. I'm good at putting things together but I assembled almost every part together azz backwards minus step 1 (bottom base legs and footing). If you are not well balanced as far as holding weighted steel you may want to have someone help you for stability. It comes with 2 little flat wrenches but I used my own wrench and socket set for tightening. I put the main frame on backwards to the legs because the manual wasn't too shape oriented, long story short if the safety pin holes don't line up flip the base legs over and the holes should line up. Make sure the black locking and release pins face the same direction (mistake number 2, smh). A step ladder is great for assemblying the side rails and top bar. I place the side rails at the bottom position to make the top bar assembly less difficult. This is metal so until you break it in it may not slide smoothly. Once I assembled the top bar it was really tough to lift it up higher to the top heights. I raised the side rails to there was about an inch showing under the side main frame (this felt very solid when I put all my weight on it). However, I'm 5' 10, so I wanted it higher, I raised it until the side rails were about 2 inches inside the main frame, this caused a little rock but it stops after your first pullup. Also I lifted the dip handles to the top hole. I skipped over the base measurements because I prioritized height, the base is HUUUUUUGE, about 4' 1/2" x 5', but this is what makes it so steady and preventing rocking. Also it's hard to tell from the picture but it also has a neutral grip at the top on the reverse side. All in all I'm happy with my purchase.

This has to be by far the best addition to my home gym. Pullups have always been my favorite go-to exercise in general, and those door frame pull-up bars always end up destroying my doors. This was easy to assemble and also simple to fold and store away when not needed. The adjustable height is also convenient.
