At first I was a bit frustrated. The belt went on pretty easily but as I used it it would slide back and forth on the drum. I learned to be better about keeping the drum level and was able to control the slippage, but it was enough of a PITA that I switched back to a solid non-woven drum. That was disappointing because when it worked it was doing a better job of accomplishing the needed task then any other drum I had.A little while later I decided to give it another shot and I put it back on the burnisher. This time I forgot to reduce the speed from the previous drum and started the machine. It was spinning faster than I thought it should be but I tried it anyway and, eureka! The belt locked into place and was rock solid.Well duh, it’s an expanding drum and if you don’t run it fast enough it can’t get enough centrifugal force to expand enough and grab the sleeve! After I turned the speed up it performed flawlessly and saved the project I was working on!

Bought this drum for the Bauer metal finisher from harbor freight. Fits and performs perfectly. Make sure the angled slits are facing the right way when you install it so the drum expands and grips the abrasive belts properly.

Buen producto y funciona muy bien con mangas abrasivas
