Got this yesterday and tried it today with the following thoughts.Pros:1. great workmanship. the machine is pretty well built. can't say about the electronic parts as it's only been two days, but otherwise the machine is very solid.2. very compact and lightweight. I live in apartment. so this is very important.3. quiet. at the normal speed around 22-26 strokes, the foot pedal makes louder noise than the big wheel.4. great app and hardware integration. I downloaded the app and pair it with my iphone and apple watch all together. now I can use watch as real time heartbeat sensor, iphone front camera as optical sensor and display everything on the phone screen. It's extremely help to see the data to make sure I can maintain target heart rate and good stroke speed during the entire workout. it would be perfect if the app can support watch with ipad, but that's not machine's issue.Cons:1. installation. video only is outdated with the first set of screw installation being completely different from what's in the paper manual. Same goes for the parts and part numbers as they changed. In the manual, some minor mistakes on how the flat washer and spring washer should be stacked. one place said it correctly, then the others said it differently which was wrong.2. not enough resistance. I am not a big strong guy(5'9", 158lbs), but I am starting all the way with 16 the max. It's good enough for cardio fat lost and endurance I believe, but not good enough for strength.3. I bought the more expensive 02-magnetic pro version, but at the front of the wheel, it's missing a pad at the front which gives it two options to store the machine. With the pad, I can store the machine upright without having to folder it which actually uses less space than folding it. The cheaper 01-magnetic rower does have that.

Assembly was straightforward - probably 30 minutes and one person can do it with tools included (but real tools make it easier). The app is ok - the workouts seem to connect to device and track info well enough. For me, the coaches/guided sessions wouldn't play audio on any device I tried them on, which would mean the issue is with the app.Firstly, smaller than the picture leads you to believe; the buff model must be around 5'4 in order for the implied machine length to be correct to scale. Because of the short length, stroke length is limited and anyone 5'10 or taller won't like the movement at all.The mechanical components seem good enough - seat slides smoothly, resistance wheel is smooth as well. The seat isn't great - easy to come off it at the front and back of the movement. Pedals don't have adjustment for placement, meaning regardless of height and body type, foot position is the same, which compounds the next and probably biggest shortcoming. The head of the machine is too low and too close to the pedals for a proper rowing movement, especially on the return. I'm 5'10 and because the wheel is so low, I'm unable to use a proper form on the return without scraping the handle across my knees. The handle is also part of the problem with the return in particular - it's about six inches too narrow. The handle should be wide enough that your grip is outside your knees a bit on the return and this handle is so narrow that your grip will be right across ypur knee caps. The handle isn't replaceable; good machines use a clip system to allow changing handles, this one is permanently attached to the strap.Overall for occasional use, it's probably ok. If you're wanting a machine to help you get into rowing for exercise or training, this isn't the one. I'd recommend using some of the money spent on this machine to pay for a gym for a few months while you put the rest of the money towards saving for a better machine.

This machine looks good, works well, is pretty easy to assemble, sturdy and quiet, the installation/operation manual is well designed, easy to understand, and has everything you need except for a trouble-shooting section. That's what I needed. The water/resistance tank is pre-installed and is supposed to be mostly full of water, fill-it and leave it for the next session. The design includes feet on the back perpendicular surface to be able to neatly stand the device upright to be stored near the wall. It is super easy to do and opens up a lot of space in the room when not in use, which is the vast majority of its existence.However... when tilting the device upright to park against the wall, the water tank begins leaking at the place where the top section (top half) of the tank attaches to the frame, and at a slow enough rate not to notice immediately, but fast enough to form a 10-foot puddle in 12 hours.I'm hoping this is a one-off defect in my particular machine, and if so, they have a quick fix for it.

I did loads of research to find this rower. I looked at quite a few of the super expensive ones, but did not want to pay a monthly fee for the classes those other brands offer. Also, I am new to rowing so I didn't want to put a lot of money into this in case I didn't like it. I'm just under 5' and this is just a tiny bit too big for my legs to get to the completely perpendicular position at the start of the stroke, so I pulled out the pin that stops the seat, added a tiny bit of padding to the joint further up, and it works great now. (I'm making that point specifically for other shorties out there). It's quiet and easy to move and was very simple to put together. The screen isn't all that fancy, but it counts time and distance just fine (and some other things like calories, etc.) If you are interested in rowing, especially if you don't have a lot of space, this is a really good item. I've already recommended it, in person, to someone else.

Buena máquina en general. Cumple su propósito. Sin embargo, no tiene Bluetooth como lo hacen ver en las fotografías. Eso impide que te puedas conectar correctamente con varias aplicaciones.
