I went to a home store to purchase replacement filters and the sales person didn't even seem to want to help me find the correct filter, so I went home and ordered on Amazon. Shopping on Amazon was so easy, they had the correct filter and my order arrived quickly. These filters are easy to install...foolproof if I can do it.

It works fantastic, love the look of it. The only downside is that the chain is very flimsy and breaks after about a week of use due to tarnishing. This is the second one I’ve bought . The glass itself fell out and broke after over 1.5 years of use everyday. This time I bought a separate lanyard with a clip to hold it.

Good quality at a good price. Comes with nice long chain. Easily slips over your head if needed and good length for reading. I use it to see grocery item prices as well as read ingredients in products. You can add your favourite pendant to customize the look.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. A couple people mentioned that its too big (and that would be my fault for not getting the right size). But also, a genuine monocle has "galleries" on the top and bottom - extensions that keep the lens away from your eye. By the time I wedge this between my cheekbone and brow - i can't open my eye because the lens is squashed up against my eyelid. Works well making small print big - if you are happy holding it in your hand..... I'll probably make a handle for it, the chain is flimsy.

Wanted to save money compared to brand name for the fridge it goes in, and this thing is great! While my fridge tells me 6 months are up and time to change the filter you can taste the difference when its done but not until then. Great product, got it set up to repeat purchase.

This is good quality replacement for the more expensive LG version. This is the second time I have purchased this product. On occasion I get a slightly off taste from the water, but it is slight, not often and perhaps not the fault of the product. I will continue to buy this as long as I have a need for this type of filter.
