Remplacement d’un thermostat pour un combiné frigo/ congélo très ancien dont pièce plus fabriquée (congélation permanente de l’espace frigo)Il fait très bien le jobJ’ai dû faire une petite adaptation pour le loger dans l’emplacement d’origine (découpe superficielle)

I bought this to replace the broken thermostat in my 5cuft Beaumark chest freezer that seemingly is made of parts no longer available. Might work OK in a common refrigerator/freezer and on that basis I gave it 5 stars. The description is misleading however. This thermostat will not work in a dedicated freeze-only appliance such as a chest freezer. Tried one thermostat then sent it back because I thought it was defective so I tried another. I set to it's coldest setting and it ran until my freezer reached -26C then it shut off the compressor then the freezer warmed up to almost 0C then started all over again. Tried adjusting the range screw to no avail.
