I'd give this a 5 star if the little metal tabs were properly seated. A few were stuck in the tube and I had to fish them out using a wire straw cleaner. Once I got the metal "buttons/tabs" out the tube's and seated properly everything snapped into place. Just measure within 1 inch, then use the twist knobs to tighten and place the baby gate.Exactly what I needed.

Very disappointed in this purchase as it's hard to open (definitely can't do with one hand whilst holding a child) and clunky. Also didn't feel secure when attached to the wall - would not buy again.

We live in a newer home that has ridiculously wide hallways. We needed the largest gate available (50”). This fits perfectly and can be made secure by spinning the tension wheels. We would have preferred a swing gate but could not find any that would fit width of hallway. It is easy to move aside when baby is asleep. Would recommend.
