Completely different from photos. The glass is not clear. How can you observe ants if you can’t see them?! Very small. Probably for 5-10 ants maximum.

This product seems to be built by an ant-keeper who knows their stuff. Good ventilation, good nesting are, good humidity control, overall it has everything an ant keeper would want. I did, however, make the mistake of trusting the security of the enclosure with my smallest species (Tapinoma Sessile). They quickly found ways to escape from the lid ventilation, not-perfect fittings with the magnetic outworld and water feeder, and various other inconsistencies. I am currently attempting to diagnose their newest hidden exit point, though luckily only a scout or two ever tries to escape and quickly adventure around the desk. I think that stands testament to their enjoyment of their new home.I only take off one star as it is not clearly advertised that this setup is ONLY suitable for medium-large species. If you're fine with the occasional escapee and hours of trial and error finding their exit points, you could also keep a smaller species in here as I have chosen to.

This was very easy to set up and the design seems sturdy.I REALLY wish it included instructions specifically for filling the water. Took a while fiddling with it and I hope I did it right! Luckily the seller says the water lasts a few weeks.

Very stable and professionally done. Everything is sealed with magnets. Allowing easy changes/refills.Many Pros, but a few recommendations; 4 small magnetic disks for red panel instead of just two. Removable “decor” in outworld.

Overall, the main nest section of the product is just as I would have liked, with a lot of space and foraging area for the ants, along with a few extra bits like cotton balls, tweezers and a pipette, however upon arrival the feeding box attachment was completely destroyed as shown despite having no damage to the box exterior, I would’ve happily waited for a new one to be shipped as the nest can function without it, but the only way to get a replacement for it would be to send the entire thing back which I don’t want to do, another side note is that some parts are quite mismatched including the bolts and washers being of all different sorts which doesn’t actually impact the functionality, however it definitely alters the looks, so overall the product is decent however replacing the broken parts should be made a lot easier in my opinion
