I normally buy steel wool that comes in a bag of multiple little pads of wool.However those have gotten way too expensive, so I thought I would try these rolls of wool, and they worked just fine for my purposes, which is to spray them with oil and rub light rust off of old firearms, and other metal objects.If you are looking for wool to scrub heavy rust or other contaminants from surfaces, these are not for you, they are not densely packed enough.However, of you just need to be able to cut off some wool and do light rust removal and oiling, these are perfect and are a great price.

Found the hole in a corner in cabin bathroom and plugged it with the steelwool. No more critters!!

I got this to put in some holes in the garage that mice might come through.It’s packaged to where it’s easy to just open, unroll, and stuff it in the holes. I still have plenty left after packing it into 4 holes.Will save the rest for any other areas I notice.

Awesome double roll of 000 steel wool for keeping metal clean around the homestead. Packaging is simple and the rolls are easy to access / unwind. There's a ton of uses for this stuff, and any self-respecting homesteader should have an ample supply. This wool is a good value and a good quality so I recommend you get some if you're in need.
