The adapter screw (knurled bit on the plug) appears to be decorative only. This means that the adapters which work on the genuine cable cannot be used with this cable. I require use of adapters in my setup, making this cable e-waste before it can even be used.

Este cable es imprescindible para utilizar la diadema SE50 con sistemas inalámbricos sennheiser. Ya que el cable que viene por defecto con el adaptador para sennheiser produce ruidos de falso contacto. Hasta que das con el problema crees que tienes un problemas de radio frecuencia. Este cable que es con conector sennheiser funciona a la perfección y se acaban los problemas. Samson no deberia proporcionar la diadema con adaptadores si no con cables como este. UTILICEN LA DIADEMA SÓLO CON ESTOS ADAPTADORES EC10TM.

Perfect!!! The great thing about the Samson SE10 and 50 is that you can buy this guy to repair a broken/defective cable or even convert one that came configured with a different connector like the TA5F that I did. The microphone is a standard screw mount connector to the cable that simply unscrews to replace as needed. We are using this with our Sennheiser EW100 G3 wireless systems. Disregard the "wrong fit" review on this item.
