I just received this tension rod curtain the other day and it was well worth the wait! I had been looking for a tension rod to hang curtains in lieu of a door, in front of my walk in closet.I absolutely love the gold tone design as it really adds an overall tone of timeless class and elegance to the warm ivory lace curtains that hang from it. The gold is subtle and I'm glad I took a chance on these rather than simply opting for a basic PVC tension rod.The rod was easy to install in less than five minutes. So far it is sturdy, durable, and hasn't bent, slipped, or moved at all.The price is fantastic, too! It's definitely a good value, and I'm going to order a few more for other areas in my home that could use a quick yet luxe upgrade.

I put the review title in all caps because we recently ordered a different shower rod that was a monster to install requiring King Kong strength to retract the rod into the space. This one was super easy to install with a more typical screw tensioning mechanism instead of strictly spring loaded. We appreciate that! I liked the instructions because (again, unlike the other rod we got) it showed exactly what pieces of the rod to assemble together in order to get the rod to within a range that would fit our shower.It also comes with two adhesives "hangers". It's a backup to the tension of the rod itself and though I appreciate that backup, our ceramic tile is not to the ceiling. We have masonry block above that and I can't imagine they will stick to that, though we will try.It's a pleasing gold color that will match our gold colored curtain rods. It works just fine and seems to be plenty sturdy though we've installed this in our guest bathroom and we haven't had any guests yet.

This curtain rod is the bomb. It is made up of several segments, so you can make this as long or as short as you want. Now then, you have to be smart enough to figure out which segments can go together and which don't. So, there's that. But, once I pulled my head out and took a step back, I pieced it together for my shower. There is a segment which holds the spring loaded adjustment, and it works fabulous. There are some little plastic adhesive ends that you can stick to the wall and let it sit in, but there's not much of a lip there, so I skipped that and went for the traditional tension adjustment. Great looking curtain rod, easy up, great adjustment. LOVE IT!!

Super easy to install. Not as “springy” as some tension rods so I was nervous on it staying but even with two kids pulling on the curtain it hasn’t even budged. Smooth surface all the way across so no snagging rings on a large adjustable section like some rods. Great size and easy to make work in any space. Very sturdy and overall great value for the money.
