The Size and sturdiness seemed great at first. As I was assembling the spear I felt my hands burning and noticed that I had lots of small splinters all over my hand. Discomfort lasted 3 days. Now I have a object that'll sit in the corner.

I used this item spearfishing in the Sea of Cortez in Baja, Mexico. Good spear, strong and resilient. Took some shallow water shots underneath rocks, took a lot of flexing as I resurfaced and the dove to retrieve it. Carry a file to resharpen, tip will stay sharp, unless you take a bunch of shots into the rocks. Recommended.
