Die Bremse beißt auch nach einiger Nutzung sehr gut, und bremst verlässlich, wirklich stark. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.Ich wusste vor dem Kauf nicht, was ein Banjo-Anschluss ist - daher möchte ich hier kurz für alle Menschen wie mich drauf hinweisen: Dieser Bremssattel erfordert eine spezielle Bremsleitung, eine Bremsleitung mit einem sog. "Banjo-Anschluss". Sie wird auf der Seite des Bremssattels nicht mit Olive/Mutter befestigt, sondern mit einer Leitung, die in einem runden, hohlen ("donutförmigen") Anschluss endet. Dieser wird am Bremssattel mit einer speziellen, hohlen Schraube befestigt, diese ist enthalten (doch aufpassen - nicht über den vorgegebenen Drehmoment anziehen, da sie schnell kaputt geht!). Die erforderliche Bremsleitung, der Banjo-Anschluss, sowie die erforderlichen Dichtungsringe sind jedoch NICHT enhalten, und müssen seperat gekauft werden. Meist ist alles benötigte enthalten, wenn man einfach eine Bremsleitung mit Banjo-Anschluss, zB von Shimano kauft.

Ho acquistato questa pinza in sostituzione di un altra a cui si è danneggiato il pistoncino ceramico…. Ho preferito prenderla nuova anche per il prezzo che è più conveniente dato che arriva compresa di pasticche ! Consigliato

Ordered this to replace a similar SLX caliper with a cracked ceramic piston. Also ordered the ceramic piston and successfully fixed the original caliper. Ordering this was the covering all eventualities approach. It came with various fixings you might need (inc new pads) and it fitted no problem. Had to do two bleed routines to get rid of all the air in the caliper over a period of hours. Suspect bubbles loiter in the banjo union so you may need to hang the caliper to encourage them out as I did. After that it worked a treat. Not done any long downhill braking yet but ordinary use hasn't given any issues. I do like the performance of Shimano SLX brakes. Good initial bite and plenty of power. I suspect the cracked piston was self induced by my rushed, cack handed pressing back of the pistons to fit new pads. I will be more careful in future!

I was bleeding some air from my old rear brake calipers, but as I was finishing up my heart sank when the bleed screw kept turning instead of locking down. Must have overtightened it at some stage and stripped the screw threads, so a 5 min job turned into a bigger one as now I needed to replace the calipers.I found these on Amazon, decent price & good reviews.When they arrived the size & fit was spot-on, they came with new pads, but they needed a banjo fitting instead of the screw-in connector that was on my bike.That was easily sorted with banjo-fitting which arrived next day and didn't need any special tools to fit, so I was all sorted and ready to go 20 mins later.Works a treat, and I've learned my lesson - don't overtighten things.
