Very strong Springs very versatile piece of equipment. Able to do many different things. Very much worth the price. It attached perfectly to 1 inch PVC pipe. Very pleased.

I ordered this Seat Post from Shoreline Marine to compare to the other posts offered for use in the marine environment to compare the quality. I have not known the name Shoreline Marine for long and I assume they are another company from out there offering much of the same items we see at a discount price and usually a diminished quality. I am happy to report this post is rigidly made, it is an 11-Inch, brushed aluminum and it appears to be as good a quality product as other posts I've observed and used. The pin is not threaded, nor does it have the holding notch that is a part of the pins from other makers. It has a nylon hole plug for the top end for my seat to fit in and it is a good tight fit. I really like this extension and plan to purchase another for my boat's seats. I am not a large fellow who needs the added security of the wedge or the full made pedestal system offered for secure installations that will support the biggest of fishermen, so this post will work for me.
