This item was received, due to being a project. I didn’t get to install the unit until after the return window, when I opened up the package, I found that the wires were all melted, evidently this unit was returned after being used and was melted and damaged, we were not able to use it, and not able to return it because of being outside of the return window. It was supposed to be a new unit, not a used unit.

When activating the siren, the volume of the siren is determined by the level of the volume on the volume selector on the box. Almost like it’s wired to the microphone.

Absolutely great value for price. As a volunteer, this is definitely budget friendly. It's loud and clears traffic very well. Some of the tones are not the greatest (compared to ones we hear in America), but it's great for it's price. Installation wasn't too difficult either. I had this installed in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend this for anyone in my position.
