This has almost useless suction cups. No suck at all. And the unit is just overall weakly built.

Needed a way to mic a ukulele and this worked great after modification. I had to trim the shaft so it wasn't sticking out so far. Was able to mount mic right where I needed to so it was out of the players way. Worked great for our needs.

The suction cups really grab my metal body resonator guitar. The little arms are sturdy plastic. The long piece is metal. There is a round thumb nut on one of the "grabbers" that when tightened secures the whole thing confidently on my guitar. Glad I bought it, it's a good deal.
