This is a good solid well made type of tablet holder that has a lock to hold the tablet in place. There is also a mounting ball setup that will not allow the adjustment knob to come out far enough to allow the ball joints to completely come apart. Yes, someone who comes equipped with a screwdriver, the knowledge of how the theft resistant knob works, and has the time, can still steal this. But then there are plenty of small cordless power tools out now that could quickly cut out almost anything in the way of a mount. This is meant to stop thieves of opportunity from just reaching in and grabbing it and taking off, and that it will do. This does it's job very well as far as holding the tablet steady enough to use and read without holding it. This fit my 10.1" tablet perfectly with room to spare for a larger one, but it might not fit one with a thick case on it, it's limited to maybe a total of a half inch thick tablet. I think this is a well made holder that does its job well, and sells for a good price, and I can give it two thumbs up.

Finally no more wobble. I was able to use my existing cd player mount with this. Very happy.

This mount covers the volume knob on an Amazon Fire Tablet & if you flip it the other way it covers the power button, making either useless. Also, when you hit a bump it either turns down your tables or powers it off. It was sturdy looking and might work on other tablets?If you have an Amazon Fire and need a holder get this brand = FANAUE Tablet Holder.

Being that I am late to this party and that there are currently 9 four to five star reviews and no lower star reviews, I have nothing new to add. I do agree with the potential security concerns expressed about the Phillips screws.Suffice it to say that I happily cast the 10th high star review for this excellent, thoughtfully designed, heavy duty, Dosvsi Security Car Tablet Mount.
