Works great. It was small then I thought but works great every thing is hidden behind my tv something I’ve always wanted to accomplish and never could until now.

This review is for the appacare Cable Box Mount. In the box is the metal mount, a elastic band, two wall anchors, and two screws. The box itself is precut for four screws, which i would recommend if you intend to mount anything heavier. The wingnuts for the sliding bracket worked fine for me, but I was careful not to over tension, and tighten just enough to hold the sliding piece in place.I used this box to mount my cable modem, and it is perfectly sized for that purpose. Much of my network cabling travels under subflooring in the rafters, and this area can get cramped and difficult to work in. I ordered this mount to bring my modem out of the cramped space, suspended from a floor joist to get more air movement, and also to avoid moving it around when working on wiring, which I do too often. It does this job pretty well, although, the mount itself is inlikely to really help with airflow, as the side that screws into the wall is not vented. I could also imagine using one of these to secure other lightweight devices like wifi modems, HDMI splitters and sends, but I do not think it would work great on heavier items like Playstations and such.I've deducted a star because 1) the fasteners it comes with are pretty dreadful. The head is too shallow and my drill bits kept slipping and stripping them, so I just used my own screws. 2) the band it comes with is a little oversized, and too thick to easily fit over the retainer clips easily. So, you'll find either the band is too floppy to hold in place when mounting, or the clips are too close to the wall/surface after it has been secured to put it back on. And then, when on, it doesn't really hold all that securely, so, definitely needs a redesign. That said, I am pleased with the outcome, and would recommend for this specific purpose.
