I have bought these pants I. Different sizes for the last 3 years for my granddaughter. They fit well and are durable.

My grand daughter wears 10/12 the large was a little big kept them for future growth…seem to be sturdy material & made well…would recommend for the price

So, I ordered an XL for my 11y/o daughter. There are no measurements for it on the size chart, but based on the measurements for L, I figured XL would be appropriate. Wrong. Doesn't even come close to fitting. They're comically small and look like they'd maybe fit a 4 y/o. XL is for a toddler, so I guess everything smaller is for a newborn or the unborn that are looking to play softball.

My daughter tried on 4 different pairs of softball pants for her upcoming season and these were her favorite. Some of the other were too tight and most were way too big but these fit her great. They still had a bit of room in the waist but they will fit great with a belt. I noticed the material seems thicker than the other pairs as well so hopefully the hold up well for the season. I highly recommend these.

My daughter needed new softball pants for this year. According to their size chart she would be a Medium. The length is good, but the waist band is thick and very tight on her. She likely won't be able to wear these through the entire season if she grows at all. If your child is a bit on the larger side for their age I would suggest you size up for waist comfort. The fabric is a very nice quality, and they are a true deep black color.
