I've been pressing flowers for a week now and really enjoying this kit. I liked that the absorbing boards are reusable; they must be stored in a sealed bag or container because they absorb moisture from the air as well. It's very simple to assemble referring to the included diagram. I slightly damaged the edge of the wooden plates because I thought I needed extreme pressure my first go around. In actuality, basic securing pressure is enough. Already have 27 blooms pressed including pansies, violas, primrose, serenity African daisies, a ranunculus, begonias, a dandelion, and daffodils. Now to figure out how to store them in a useful way.

I bought this to press the flowers from my bouquet and put them in a clear frame with one of our wedding photos. It worked perfectly and was very happy with how it turned out!

Bought this to perseve a boutique of flowers gifted by a loved one and it worked wonderfully. The flowers were dried out without compromising their shape or colour. Highly recommend!

This was a gift for girls ages 9 and 11. They had a lot of fun making bookmarks.

I’ve been pressing flowers for the past 3 years using first books/paper & then a rudimentary homemade press. I recently moved & am without a press at the moment, but while visiting my mom I wanted to preserve some of the flowers from her beautiful garden so I ordered this as it had good reviews & wasn’t super expensive. I am so impressed that I literally bought a second one a week later. The use of this press with drying plates & sponges (which I had never used before) left me with the best results I’ve ever gotten pressing flowers. The flowers dry quickly & retain their color very well. I tried one zinnia that was very thick & bulbous just to see & was so pleasantly surprised with how it turned out that I bought the second press just to fill with more zinnias! It is small but it can hold a surprising amount of flowers & when the straps are on tight, it’s pretty small & compact. I almost never write reviews but I really honestly think this is a great product & would 100% recommend it either to someone looking to begin pressing flowers or to someone who wants to upgrade from their current press.Edit: one year since my original review & I’m back to say I still love & use this product on a regular basis & have, unsurprisingly, purchased a third. I don’t think there’s been a single time over the past year that at least one press wasn’t in use & I’ve literally started a business selling pressed flower art (@ pressitrealgood on the gram if you’re interested)!
