I bought this for my 11-year-old grandson and I can’t get him to take it off. He loves it so much. He’s going on a long plane ride with his mom and he says this is going to be the best thing he has to snuggle up on the plane, very soft and cozy, well worth the money ❤️❤️

This thing is amazing. It has decent heat/flame control and is sturdy enough to hold large pots and pans. Too heavy and large for backpacking and could use a grill for smaller pots. I bought a grill elsewhere. It meets my needs and gets a lot of interest at the campsite.

Finally a camping stove that is of great quality and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg! The quality and design are simply marvelous. Even the case and zipper are of excellent quality.

To be honest, I was quite unimpressed when I opened the package for the first time. Yes, the legs and brackets did seem very sturdy. But the whole thing was of about my palm size. 11000W power? Are you kidding me?In disbelieving, I connected the little stove to a 1 LB propane cylinder, and I lighted the burners using the included igniter and adjustied the power ......my GOD ! I had to immediately turn the flames down to avoid burning down the house! IT WAS SURREALLY POWERFUL! You have to use it to believe me ! And the flames could also be effectively simmered!As a side note, the package was obviously badly handled during shipping and the stove did have a damaged part. I contacted the seller and the matter was immediately resolved. Great serivice! Highly recommended!

This review applies only to MVMOD OTGS-550, as sold by Amazon on June 2023Unpacking: It came in a small card-stock box containing a carry bag with all the stove components neatly stored inside; smaller loose pieces were inside their own little plastic baggies. Removed baggies and tie-wrap from everything and laid it all out on a table, along with the “Instruction Manual”, prior to inspection and assembly.Assembly: Unfolded the legs, unfolded the pan support extensions, uncoiled the gas line and got ready to directly attach its connector to a 450g (just under 1 lb.) isobutane gas cartridge (not included) I had already.First Use: Put the mini-stove on an outdoor, level, steady, non-flammable surface, and made sure the gas valve was closed before connecting it to the gas cartridge. Opened the valve a little (“low”) and, using a spray bottle with bubble-blowing solution, tested for gas leaks (none found, OK to proceed). Lit the burners with the provided piezo igniter, and adjusted flame to “high” (full open, BIG flame). Put 1L of room-temperature water (seems to be the standard reference point) in a 4 qt. (9”) stainless steel pan (regular home use, heavy bottom, not thin camping types) and put it on the mini-stove. Started timing it to measure ET to rolling boil (another apparent standard). Adjusted down the flame (it was over-shooting the bottom of pan) to about “medium”. It took 2½ minutes to start forming bubbles in the bottom of the pan, and a total of 5½ minutes to reach a rolling boil (210° F).Observations:• Although gas valve has 300° range stop-to-stop, the adjustment knob is small (0.391”) and is very touch sensitive to small adjustments (I put markings on the knob, its shaft, and the valve body to visually enhance fine adjustment control).• The non-flammable surface the mini-stove sat on for this first use got hot (mini-stove radiates a lot of heat out the bottom) in those 6 minutes. The copper burners and the stainless steel pan supports, all sustained varying degrees of heat-induced discoloration from just that one use (reasonable to expect), and the pan support extension hinge now squeaks a little (fixed with a drop of silicone oil on each hinge point). However, because the metal is thin, it cooled off quickly enough to allow putting back in its carry bag after just a few minutes.• The five burners burn a lot of fuel when the valve is wide open, maybe enough flame to use my 12” skillet or stock pot, neither of which, however, am I bringing with me in my back pack… so I can’t foresee wide-open use in temperate weather while using a small wind screen.• The flame had occasional bursts of yellow and red… either contaminants in the fuel (maybe try a different brand), or left-over manufacturing swarf in the mini-stove (should clear by itself with use), either way, not a problem.• The “Instruction Manual” is a half-sheet of nearly useless, as it is written, formality; only six lines of actual instructions (“Tips”) in poor English, four lines of mostly inconsequential specs (“Parameters”), and the rest, front and back, are “Warnings” and “Prohibitions”… like, don’t cook children on this stove (“Do not use the stove for children”), and the picture about putting on hairspray in front of the lit stove (because everyone wants to keep their hair in place while cooking in the woods)... An annoying distraction, but no worse than gnats going up your nose.Evaluation:Pros• Physical stability – The four short extended metal legs have a low-slip, soft, rubbery, grippy, foot. Does NOT sit atop gas cartridge, has short (4” tall) steel body, wide stance (7”), and overall low center of gravity.• Safety – Gas cartridge sits farther away with long (+24”) steel-braided line, brass fittings, manifold, valve, and copper burners. Piezo igniter is NOT built-in; it is a separate, hand-held item (won’t overheat, melt, or short).• Efficacy – Five equidistant, high-flow burners. Multi-fuel compatible with adapters included.• Portability – Packed in the included carry case, 4” highX6¼” diameter, and 0.74 Kg in my configuration (0.8 Kg as shipped).• Quality – Only steel sheet, stamped stainless steel, brass, and copper are used for the major metal components used in my configuration (the valve knob and 7 hinge rivets are aluminum, the valve gasket is neoprene). Moving parts fit is nominal. Finish for sheet steel is powder-coated, the stainless, brass, copper, and rivets are mill-finish, knob is anodized.• Price – Reasonable for features and quality.Cons• Instruction Manual – Poorly written, poorly arranged, short in useful content.• Warranty – Box says “We offer […] a lifetime guarantee.”; there are no details on coverage, exclusions, method of access, location, etc.. An email address is the only contact shown, and it is to a non-HTTPS e-commerce host website (163.com), registered in China (according to an ICANN/WHOIS lookup), that times out when attempting to connect to it from my browser (Firefox).Conclusions: The ‘Pros’ certainly outweigh the ‘Cons’. It seems like a solid product that should have better than nominal longevity. Even if it breaks after three or four years of use as intended, I feel it was worth it, and buy another. Time will tell, but, at this time, no hesitation about giving a positive review and recommending it to my friends.

This is a great compact camp stove. Everything you need including adapters for various fuel types. The fuel valve is very sensitive, so turn it slowly. The stove is very stable and easily holds a small to mid-sized pan. With 5 burners, this stove heats FAST! It comes with an igniter, but I would suggest that you get a long stem butane lighter to prevent singing the hair on your hands. The included zippered storage case holds everything perfectly. I highly recommend this compact camp stove for others.
