I've been using these while replacing rotting deck boards. They work well, no issues with stripping the heads like with the last set of Phillips screws I purchased.

We had a large quantity of non coated screws so we compared the ease of installing them compared to these coated screws. The coated ones installed with about half the force needed for the non coated screws.I would never use non coated screws again.

I like the square head bit when screwing into wood for more torque. And less screew heads stripping out like Philip heads and starheads can do. And delivery and online price is unbeatable. Great deck and project screws if you want lasting durability...!

These screws were just what I was looking for. For some reason it is getting harder to find square drive screws in my area. Square drive are the easiest to use because the bit can't skip out of them. I have trouble pushing hard enough to keep from stripping out phillips heads and have even skipped out of a star drive because I have arthritis in my hands. But the bit really locks into square drive so all I have to do is pull the trigger.
