good cooling but in full load the fan is loud if you open the case, if you have some money buy noctua fans it will be much better

Great and simple installation, easy to understand and setup. Fit is as advertised and does a wonderful job cooling my CPU especially during OCing, this cooler punches about its weight class albeit the fans are a tad bit noisy

CPU: 9700xIdle:46cGaming: 67c-70c (goes up to 90c then throttle until stable temp)running at 5.5GhzI expected more from such a huge heatsink even got a bracket for AM5 and temps still mid not high or low

Update:I just did a CPU test, maximizing the clock speeds and temperature of my r5 5600. The results were unexpected!At 50% fan curve until 60 C and 100% at 70 C, even when maximizing my CPU clock speed, the temps stayed stabilized around 67 C which is far from thermal throttling, usually around 80 C.With my previous Wraith Stealth cooler, my CPU was struggling to keep cool in the first minute of the standard OCCT CPU test. Even at 100% fan curve, my CPU was hovering around 85 C with the wraith stealth.Important to note, this was tested during the winter with colder ambient temperature, but still, I am now confident my CPU will cruise through the summer without thermal throttling!Previous Review:I recently upgraded my CPU cooler from Wraith Stealth to the Phantom Spirit 120 SE. Idle temperatures have already dropped significantly from 45°C to around 30°C. I’m very pleased with this purchase, especially considering the price and performance.I was considering buying the Peerless Assassin 120 SE; however, after a little research, I noticed the Phantom Spirit was a newer line of Thermalright CPU coolers that offers 1 extra heat pipe and for the same price!

Replaced a Hyper 212 with this and saw an almost 10 degree cooler temp difference and much more stable. I think the die pressure on this cooler is higher than the 212 which probably does a lot for the performance, as well as being a dual tower setup instead of a single tower like the 212. Very happy with this cooler.
