These are super light, super stretchy, and super comfortable. The pockets are off to the side and not in the front like most shorts. This keeps air flow to your quads. I have not run with anything in the side pockets…but I have had gu or keys in the back zippered and didn’t even know they were there. The only way they could be improved was maybe a slit or v or something on the side of the leg and making them in Red or White….once they do I’m ordering both.I do trail runs, hyrox and deka in these. They are my competition shorts, won’t wear any other shorts for events. For sizing I’m 5’8” stocky 190lbs and got large. The med was fine, but the large was more comfortable for my larger quads.**Update**The first pair was black and amazing....easily 6 stars. (Size was large)Got a second pair that was dark grey and was a different material and size. Had to return the large and get a Med...to get the same size as the first pair. The material is stiffer and doesn't stretch as well...but is more durable (not that I need that). I would give this pair a 4.5 stars

Just wore these on two sections of the West Highland Way where I was out for around 8 hours at a time and these were very comfy with no chafing etc. good pockets also.Probably buy another pair as they are a great fit and totally value for money.

For the price of these shorts I can’t complain one bit. Super comfortable, lightweight, and held up. I primarily run Trails and haven’t had an issue with any of the pairs I’ve bought so far. All around a great product at a low price point.

First foray into 2 in 1 running shorts. I'm pleasantly surprised, enough so that I bought another pair. Quality is good. Does run a bit on the large size, so I returned the first pair and replaced with this pair which fits great. While there is not much compression in the liner, it feels good on and definately helps prevent chafing. Support is on the light side, not snug, but I like a lighter support in a running short.
