They do get cold. I soaked for a little while, you ring them out, and use. They even give you a little bag to put them in.

I tend to work outside during the summer for events and bought these towels for me and some coworkers who often work together. needless to say we love these they are easy to pack with me when i go out to work and is really good value for the money compared to ones you can get in the store. good quality for the price and like the softness of the product. if you have a family or just want to have a towel in available areas (car, purse, backpack etc) then this is a good buy

This cooling towel works as advertised though I can only speak for weather that was hitting 75-80 degrees! It definitely is a great sweat rag! The price point was fair and I love how it came with it's own little bag and carabinger to carry with you. The size is perfect for those with larger necks and has enough left over to drape across your shoulders

I used two of these for a hike the other day. They were really long and I tied them on my backpack strap during the hike and had them at easy reach. They were super light but really hearty at catching my "glistening." :) These are top notch workout towels.
