They worked pretty well. I had to figure out what size masonry bit to use. It would have been helpful if the description stated a 9/16 bit is required for the 3/8 anchors.

Stainless steel with appropriate lock washer and nut. I used multiple concrete bits to make the hole, starting with smaller ones and working my way up. The final size I used was 3/8”.

Vine items are not free for Reviewers; more about that after the review.I own an old home with a detached garage that sits about 40 feet back from the house. Although it’s side door does lock, it isn’t a heavy duty door and could easily be kicked in with very little effort so I’ve been worried about the equipment I have to keep in there like my new mower, pressure washer, weed whacker, etc. Also, we have been keeping our Trek Mountain Bikes in the basement because of the garage side door and they are a pain to get out every time we want to ride. I saw these and decided to order a few with the intention of installing the bolts into the concrete floor of the garage and purchasing a thick chain so I can chain my lawn and house equipment to them, as well as our bikes. They were fairly easy to install using masonry bits and my drill. Just drilled the hole, pounded in the bolt, tightened it up as tight as I could and I was good to go. I also put a little bit of concrete anchor epoxy in the hole for good measure. I bought a really thick, heavy tow chain and a couple of those heavy duty shrouded padlocks that protect against bolt cutters and now our bikes are out in the garage and easy to lock in or unlock, but as safe as they can be from thieves, along with the rest of my equipment. Very happy with these. As for my reviews, I am someone who is selective and particular and have no qualms whatsoever leaving an honest review regardless if it is favorable, critical or somewhere in between. Not only am I a newly recruited Vine Reviewer for Amazon, I have been an Amazon customer since 2006 and know the value of an honest review, as does Amazon for they specifically direct its Vine Reviewers to be honest in their assessment of a product because their customers rely on reviews when deciding whether to purchase an item.Vine Reviewers are required to pay both income AND self employment tax to Federal and State on all items they review; they are not permitted to claim the sale prices of 10%, 20% or 50% off customers receive, they must pay taxes on the full market value set by Amazon and submitted to the IRS. Moreover, if an item we reviewed quits working, has flaws, is not as described or for whatever reason is unusable, we’re not allowed to return the item like customers are, nor any item for that matter; and what’s more we must still pay the taxes for the item that is no longer of any use. So no, Vine items are not free.

I bought these to anchor the bottom-edge of roll-up shades. I knew they would be overkill, but honestly I could probably lift up my entire house with one of these; heavy duty and well designed.Great anchors that are easy to use. And stainless to boot!!
