This is a quality umbrella. I wanted a J-hook umbrella for walks in the rain because a short-stemmed umbrella is not very comfortable because you have to hold it up higher, which kinks your elbow. The size of this umbrella is good for my walks because I can lean it against my clavicle without it being too heavy.

Love the quality and durability of Totes umbrellas. I have several. This one is very nice. The canopy is generous. It is easy to open and close. Handles itself well in a bit of wind. Made of recycled plastic bottles? Yes please and more of this!The finishes are silver (maybe aluminum?). I got the blue and with the silver finishes and handle, it's really nice! Best of all, it arrived just in time and in perfect condition for the seasonal storms were currently experiencing.

I normally buy and use compact umbrellas that I can carry in a backpack or a small shopping bag. I generally don't use the longer umbrellas. But I did need something a bit larger and of a better quality for some errands I must do in the rain, so I thought I would try this full-size umbrella.I was quite surprised at how nice it is. This umbrella is very lightweight. It's lighter than my smaller umbrellas. The materials appear to be of at least good to very good quality. the canopy material does not feel loose or loosely connected to the frame. It's very tight. The handle has a nice feel to it, in terms of the material used for the finishing.The umbrella opens fast and is easy to close. A large press-button latch is simple and does not require a hard push or a lot of strength to operate. It's what you would want in an umbrella!Given how lightweight it is, it's easy to carry around. When folded, the entire length is 36".Totes always was at the forefront of umbrella manufacture, and this model should satisfy those who want this type of style and length.While I have not yet been caught in a huge wind-driven rainstorm with it, it should perform better than any other umbrella I currently have in a somewhat harsh rain.It also comes in numerous colors. I chose Moroccan Blue. Very nice!Overall, I like this umbrella. I really think you will, too!

My wife wanted this umbrella without knowing anything more than the color! She loves the look of it. Upon arrival, when she saw how great it looks and how easily it works, she was ecstatic. In Florida, we deal with rain on a regular basis and you need an umbrella for your home, your car, your office, and your purse or briefcase. So, this has taken its place in our home where visitors can "ooh" and "ahh" and my wife can smile broadly as she explains how easy it is to open and close, how waterproof it is, how quickly it dries, how large the coverage is and the fact that it is made of recycled material!! She (and I) highly recommend it.
