This is absolutely perfect for swim lessons. My son is a tall thin almost 4 year old with a long torso. He wears a 4T and this wetsuit was a perfect fit. I told him it was a “Black Panther” suit and since he is crazy into Marvel super heroes he shouts “WAKANDA FOREVER” when he puts it in. He has been wearing it since winter and is the only child in his swim school not shivering.His first few lessons his lips were blue and he was shivering like crazy (so was everyone else). I was afraid that he would begin to dislike lessons if they made him so cold. Since I have purchased this wetsuit- it’s no longer an issue whatsoever.It’s not as stinky as others reviewers claim. Just smells like a wetsuit and I’m pregnant with a HIGHLY sensitive nose and it doesn’t bother me.All in all- I give quality, value for price, and effectiveness- 5 stars! I’d give 6 if I could.

Overall the quality is great, easy to put on and take off by my daughter herself. The size is all fit well I like sleeves ending with rubber-liked materials.When my daughter was staying in cold water (non-heated pool, outside degree is 65F) for an hour, she didn't complain any cold feeling. swim just like regular, no special feeling. highly recommended if you are seeking a wetsuit for your kids

My son used this for the first time this weekend and he said it kept him very warm. We only use It for swim lessons but even in a heated pool, my son gets very cold. The suit seems to be well constructed and fits well. I ordered slightly on the large side so he could get a lot of use out of it. It seems true to size. He is pretty thin and it is only loose in the upper torso. This didn’t seem to affect the performance. I cannot speak to how it would hold up in salt water or for boogie boarding as we only use it in a pool, but I would recommend this wetsuit. It is a good bargain!

I bought it for myson. My son is almost 8 so I ordered size large and it fits him good (averageheight and weight) It is well made andthick. The length of the arms and legs, the stitching, and materials are good.The arms and legs are fitted snug and not loose like the other ones.It helps to protect the delicateshoulders from those harmful Sunrays and kepthim pretty warm. I just concerned it had a funky smell, so you need to wash itbefore wearing.
