I am very pleased with the quality, look and functionality of this product. It is so much better than cheap pegboard. It is worth the money.

Purchased this to help organize my garage. The white coating was cracked and flaking on the corners, and the product was banged up during shipping. These problems are merely cosmetic, but considering the premium price of the item, I expected better. Also, I had to mount these to stud walls with no drywall. Because of where the holes are per drilled in the mounting bracket, you can't position two panels next to each other as shown in the picture. I suppose this problem could be solved by adding some additional blocking to the wall studs so there's something to screw in to, but I didn't want to bother. The pegboard is very sturdy, and the included hangers are great. In spite of the issues noted above, I would probably buy this product again or recommend this to a friend. I just really wish it had shown up in better condition.

If you want a pegboard that will outlast your garage, this is it. This one will be around in my garage long after I am long gone. Whatever type of hanger your need, it is available in the hanger kit. A must for a clean looking, neat, organized garage.

I was not enthralled with the task of organizing my shop with available products. In the past I have organized by building custom metal and wood holders for tools but this is time consuming. So, I gritted my teeth and thought I would look for a decent peg board systems. Most of them are flimsy, hardly worth the effort. I looked at local hardware stores and home improvement centers and finally went to my go-to place, Amazon.com. I ordered three different types of systems from Amazon as trials including the LB1-Kit for a face off.I have always had mixed feelings about pegboard. It is useful in some ways but irritating when you encounter its weak points like the hooks falling out. In addition you get nickel and dimed for the accessory hooks and mounting kits and gadgets that are supposed to keep the peg hooks from falling out. Many of these hooks are flimsy and try to mask the fact that most labeled 1/8" or 1/4" probably are too flimsy for 1/8" let alone 1/4" holes. Finally, most are poorly finished so you get stains over time and the holes get worn and fuzzy.Triton solved this problem with LocBoard. It mounts easily to walls with built-in spacers. It is well finished and heavy duty with plenty of hooks. It has a system to lock the hooks in place that actually works although you will find you probably don't need it for most items since the slip-down design fit tightly (I must admit I haven't tried it with conventional hooks since I found their assortment met my needs). For the acid test I put it up behind my welding bench and loaded it up with heavy hammers (three to a hook) and other heavy fixtures without a problem. You can lock the hooks in place easily but they seem to stay in place quite well without anchoring with the screw. This means I can experiment with my placement before locking them in place with the screws provided. In the face off LocBoard was a clear winner. It is heavy duty, well painted, easy to install. It avoids the falling out peg hooks problem. Their own hooks are well designed and heavy duty. The price tag is pretty heavy as well but in a side by side comparison you see the difference. As I said, I have avoided pegboard systems in the past until this one. Who says you can't put a round peg in a square hole?
