I used this for several different types of champagne bottles and it did not fit at all. the bottles leaked when put to the side on the fridge. Would not buy again.

This bottle stopper is for champagne bottle. It works as it's supposed to. I can store an opened bottle on the side and it won't leak. Those who give a bad review probably do not know how to use it

Absolutely perfect! Very impressed with how fresh this keeps sparkling wine/prosecco. 3 days later and still VERY bubbly. Will certainly be buying more of these!

This is a faulty design and a poorly functioning product. First, there is a spring system above the rubber in the top of the stopper; you push it down around the lip of the bottle and side pieces close around the lip. However, once you let go, the spring in the top pushes the top back up, away from the mouth of the bottle, resulting in a very loose seal. Also, the sides don't hold on very well, and this combined with the spring causes this top to pop clean off the bottle if it is jostled at all. So no moving this bottle or the top pops off and you have to hunt the floors for it. Also, for champagne to stay bubbly you really need something with a much tighter seal. This one allows air to come in and the contents become flat and stale after 1 day. I would really recommend anyone to not waste their money on this product. I found two old school rubberized stoppers with a silly decorative top at a yard sale for $6. They work better than this.
