This dock is fantastic, exactly what I was looking for. It doesn't have an HDMI port, but I don't need that, so it's OK.It feels solid and works great with my laptop; the Thunderbolt 4 ports are fast, and I can connect lots of things at once. It powers my laptop while in use, so I don’t need a second charger plugged in.The display options are great; I use a portable screen with no lag, or power drop outs. This dock is great for anyone like me looking to set up a clean, high-speed and compact desk space with strong display and data support. Highly recommended if you don't need an HDMI port.

The dock is built entirely of solid metal. It weighs approximately 1.75 pounds. The housing is mostly flat steel but towards the back there’s ribbed steel with an air gap for heat dissipation from internal components to the exterior. I see rubber feet on both the bottom and side for horizontal or vertical placement.The dock has many input and output options. On the front, there are two USB-A ports (3.2), one USB-C port (3.2) with 20W power delivery, an SD card slot, a TF card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Plus, I have a circular power button to turn on and off the dock. On the back, there is one Thunderbolt 4 port for connecting to a laptop (with 90W power delivery), two Thunderbolt 4 ports for peripherals or displays, one DisplayPort supporting up to 8K @ 30Hz resolution, two USB-A ports (3.0), an RJ45 Ethernet port (2.5Gbps), and the 21V DC power input. I have frequently accessed ports on the front and less commonly used ones on the back.The Thunderbolt 4 ports support dual 4K @ 60Hz or single 8K @ 30Hz displays, along with daisy-chaining capabilities. I connected a 4K monitor via DisplayPort and an 8K television through one of the Thunderbolt ports. Both work as expected without noticeable issues. I also connected an external SSD with transfer speeds up to 40Gbps via Thunderbolt 4. Speeds are consistent at approximately 2799 MB/s read and 2843 MB/s write when no monitor is connected. When the monitor is powered on, write speeds drop slightly to around 1700 MB/s while read speeds remained stable.The Ethernet port gives me faster speeds compared to Wi-Fi and no dropped connections.The dock uses a switching mode power adapter rated at 180W (21V, 8.57A). The adapter has two cables – one connecting to the AC outlet, about 57 inches long, and the other connecting to the DC port of the dock, around 37 inches. The combined length is more or less 94 inches.I quickly noticed the SD card slots are spring-loaded for easy insertion and removal. The dock powers on automatically when connected to a laptop and I see a small LED light on the front panel. I don’t have to second-guess which connection is what – each one is clearly labeled.I noticed Thunderbolt ports can result in minor speed reductions when I have multiple devices connected simultaneously. But I haven’t encountered any other issue. It just works and it’s fully plug-n-play.On both the power adapter and the dock I see it’s made in China and both have CE, FCC and UKCA certifications. Additionally, the power adapter also has a TÜV certification.

いくつかの言語で書かれた説明書が付属する。日本語でも書かれているので問題ないだろう。電源は、ACアダプタを接続する。コンセントからアダプタまでのコードの長さが約146cmほど。アダプタからドッキングステーションまでが約90cmほど。アダプタをコンセントに直差しじゃないところは良いと思う。電源ボタンが本体正面についてるが、タブレットなどの機器を接続しないと電源が入らないようになっていた。接続している機器を外すとドッキングステーションの電源も切れた。iPadPro11(2018) と接続してみた。TFカードスロットにmicroSDカードを入れてみたが iPadPro11 からは見えなかった。SDカードスロットへmicroSDカードをSDカードアダプタ経由で入れてみたらiPadPro11 のファイルアプリからSDカード内のファイルを開くことができた。iPadPro11 内の写真をSDカードへコピーしてみた。写真アプリで、転送したい写真を選択して、「四角から上矢印が出てるアイコン」をタップし”ファイルに保存”をタップ、保存先を選択する画面になるので、SDカードを選べばよい。外部モニター用のTYPE-C端子が２つ付いているので、モバイルモニターを１つ接続してみた。問題なく表示できた。さらにもう１台モバイルモニターを接続してみたところ、こっちは映像が映らなかった。試しに二つの端子の接続順を逆にしてみたところ最初に接続した方が有効になって後から接続した方は映らないようだ。 3.5mmオーディオ端子へイヤホンを接続すると iPadPro11 ですぐに認識され、「ヘッドフォン」か「その他のデバイス」かの選択肢が表示され「ヘッドフォン」を選択して使用できた。イヤホンから聞こえる音は、無音の時にホワイトノイズは無く音は綺麗に聞こえる。普段USBヘッドフォンで聞いているときの音量のままだと音が大きすぎて３段階ほど下げて使用した。USBヘッドフォンとアナログイヤホンの両方を接続すると後から接続した方が有効になり最初に接続していた方が聞こえなくなった。前面のTYPE-Cの充電用の端子へGalaxyTab S8＋を接続すると「急速充電中」と表示された。他の機器の充電端子が前面に１つしかないが、背面の外部モニター用が１つは映らないので、それを充電用として使用できた。なお、GalaxyTabを接続すると「急速充電中」と表示された。PC(Windows11)と接続してみた。背面の外部モニター用端子へモバイルモニターを接続しWindows11でマルチディスプレイの設定を触ったがモバイルモニターがつながっていることをWindows11側で認識できなかった。3.5mmオーディオ端子へイヤホンを接続するとちゃんと認識された。無音の時にホワイトノイズが聞こえないのが良い。TFカードスロットへ KINGSTONのmicroSDカード(Canvas Select Plus 128GB UHS-I V10 A1 100MB/s)を入れ読み書き速度を測定したところREAD(94.993MB/s, 94.720MB/s)、WRITE(52.962MB/s, 72.802MB/s) だった。SDカードスロットでも類似の結果だった。SAMSUNGのmicroSDカード(EVO Plus 128GB UHS-I U3 100MB/s)でも測定したところREAD(93.921MB/s, 93.487MB/s)、WRITE(27.239MB/s, 29.751MB/s) だった。総じて、SDカードの読み書きは早く、3.5mmオーディオ端子がオマケ程度ではなくしっかり聴けるのは良かった。外部モニターは、複数接続して使用することはまずないので、とくに不満には思っていない。

Great 4K display block. To be honest I don't really understand how all these things work, I have a friend who helps set up all the connectivity things with my computers. The block feels strong and well designed, and like it will last a long time. The different screens are seamless, and being able to drag my mouse from one screen to another works really well. Love this item!
