My computer's outboard hard drive stopped working, probably the power supply wire broke. This product is an exact replacement though its shape is different. The hard drive works again now that it has power.

Well built they exceeded their own ratings! Well packed works very good with low heat even under load. This is some of the best power supplies I have used especially if you want something that won’t cause a fire, this is not cheap junk at all very well made!

Have an older Porsche Design Lacie external hard dive Model AR35U3. Since its older its difficult to find a replacement power supply that specifically matches. Found one but it shipped from overseas. It disappeared during the Christmas holiday. Still haven't received it but the seller agreed to refund. Finally found this one that is close but does not specifically its compatible with the drive. Backed up the drive with the failing power supply and tried this one. It is a perfect fit and the drive now runs like new. If you have an older Lacie drive, this may be the one for you. Its reasonably priced and shipped and delivered right away. Great packaging and warranty. This is the one!
