This may be the style for some people, but the reflective threading they use is almost like glitter art, and it's so intense that unless you are in a dark room, you can't even see the artwork, particularly the landscape and edge work which is why I got this print.This may be the style for some people, and honestly the design quality is great, smooth, and everything I expect from an ultra pro mat, but at the table it literally just looks like a cheap copper glitter covered play mat

I've owned more than my share of playmats. This was the first holo one I've purchased. Images online don't do these holo playmats justice. Maybe past ones are different, I don't know, but this one is super shiny. I hate playing foil cards due to the warping issue, so I really like having my nonfoil cards on top of this foil playmat.Compared to standard rubber playmats, this one feels a little thicker, and has stitched edges. I havnt noticed my cards catching on the stitching, and the stitching will make sure the edges don't fray. Would recommend.
