Bonita, pero la app es muy mala. La conectividad entre celular/app y la cerradura es muy mala. Problemas actualizando software de la cerradura. Problemas agregando usuarios a la app.

I have bought about 20 of these door knob locks over the past few years, from the BT-3 2nd Gen to the Latch 5 with built-in WiFi. I love these locks.I used them to replace existing door knobs, but installing them in a new door would have been as easy as installing any other door knob. It came with all the necessary door templates, and it just needs basic tools to install. The instructions were step by step easy. Batteries are included, but they never worked- I just bought a bunch of Amazon Basic regular AA batteries and they worked fine.The app is really easy to use. Adding and deleting people is simple, so I can set who has access to which locks for how long. If someone forgets their code, I can unlock the doors from anywhere with the app, or give them a new code. Most of the time, I’m home when I’m programming the locks, and Bluetooth works well. If using WiFi from remote, it might take a few seconds or a couple of tries for the lock to wake up, but the lag hasn’t been bad. A nice feature is that the app tells you when the batteries are running low- it gives you plenty of reminders before they get so low that the lock won’t work. If you forget, the key works fine. I keep them in a lockbox nearby.The fingerprint sensor can be a little tricky if my finger is dirty, or wet, or too dry, but wiping my finger usually fixes it- it hasn’t been a problem.Using the code always works, but if you go too fast, you might fat finger the keypad and hit a 2 when you think you are pressing a 3, but re-entering the number works. I like that the keypad can flash and the doorknob can make an audible beep to let me know that I unlocked the door. These can also be turned off if annoying. Wait for the beep or flash to turn the knob- if you’re impatient and rush and turn the knob right right after entering the number, it might not be unlocked yet. The lock isn’t broken, it just needs a fraction of a second to unlock.For delivery people, it’s a good idea to leave a note to tap the top black area of the lock for the keypad. To save battery life, the keypad is off, so some delivery people get flustered that they don’t know where to enter their code.These are all minor things from several years of using the locks. I would buy more of these locks if I needed them. I love the convenience and control that I get with these locks. Being able to see who accessed which locks and when can give you peace of mind.The few times that I have had questions or problems, the live person customer support team has been really helpful. The wait time was short, and they had the answers I needed. I had one lock with a defect that couldn’t be fixed. As soon as I emailed them a screenshot of my Amazon order, they quickly shipped me a new one. They really do a good job with customer service. These are great locks and a good company.

La caja se veía bien, incluso el empaquetado, pero tal vez alguien ya la había regresado anteriormente, cuando la instalé me pidió que hiciera un reset, dado que al parecer ya había sido previamente configurada. Pero bueno, eso no fue problemaEl problema se presentó al utilizar la llave físicaDespués de instalarla quise hacer pruebas con todos sus métodos para abrir la cerradura. Pues al utilizar la llave físicamente, la chapa se quedó abierta todo el tiempo, es decir, la manija de afuera siempre estaba habilitada y se podía abrir la puerta, sin importar que la aplicación dijera que estaba bloqueada. Intenté varias maneras de solucionarlo, reset, actualización de firmware. Nada, incluso se escuchaba que un motor interno intenta cerrar la chapa pero simplemente no funciona, supongo que es algo mecánico. Busqué en Internet y al parecer no es un problema tan raro en modelos anteriores, pero no encontré cómo solucionarlo en el modelo que había comprado. Tendré que devolver el producto. No funcionó ni siquiera 1 día, regresé mi antigua chapa en la puerta.

This lock is exactly what we needed.We use the Ultraloq Air - set up a code for each new guest that is valid during their time of stay.Love the look, and it is sturdy and well built. Really like that it automatically relocks itself. We also get log and reports each time someone uses the lock. We can tell when guest check in and when the cleaners arrive, just by checking the log.I had a little trouble with the lock - Think it was my fault because I tried to add it to my app on my phone instead of using the Ultraloq Air online.Anyway, I sent the help folks an email and they were able to help me sort things out. I really appreciate their helpfulness.I highly recommend this lock. Works great, good value, nice support.

La unidad presentaba un problema con el cluth de la cerradura. Me contacté con el vendedor y por medio de un muy buen servicio al cliente, se reemplazó esa pieza y ahora funciona sin fallas.

Door lock arrived quickly and well packaged. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Instructions for connecting to WiFi and the U-Tec app were intuitive and easy to follow. The lock performs flawlessly. Sturdy enough for a commercial application. The illuminated keypad is easy to use, as is the app. Well done U-Tec.

Realmente creo que solamente una vez logré hacer qué funcionara de forma remota, la chapa me ha funcionado muy bien, sin embargo este bridge no lo volvería a comprar nunca, trataré de ponerle un módem y contacto sobre la puerta pero hasta el momento a una distancia menor de metro y medio nunca se logra conectar

As what the product description states that we can work on the app remotely outside of house miles away through internet connection. It's very convenient and powerful. I can authorize to a temporary user with specified time and dates. I even can remotely unlock the lock but the unlock time is very short that may only valid for 2-3 seconds.I can do all things through the app remotely without to be near the lock 3 meters within. When I add the new use with the same ID prefix with all zeros, when I tap on the sync user, the app is smart enough to consolidate both same user that I crated through the lock setting that doesn't require 4 digit but just one digit ID into one same user. The issue I found is that from time to time there appears "User 0" that is ghost user when I tap on the sync user. When I tap on that user, the app terminated by itself.Remember, to use this remote control, you need to go taping on the lock tab to get the internet synced. This part of work is little bit tricky. The connection usually take time to get synced. Once it gets synced, the connect may lost easily if you move away your location even just few steps even though you are right next either the bridge device, lock or wifi router.I find checking the log remotely most practical to me. I can know who and when which user enter the house at anytime and at anywhere.I love the feature of getting notification through email when particular user is unlocking the lock; unfortunately, the setup cannot be complete after tapping the the "next" button when finishing filling all the valid fields in the form, it states "Notice Time out, please try again!" No matter how many times I have tried, it just never succeed and keep seeing the same message.The other wonderful feature I can use through the app is adding user with the code and fingerprints without keep punching the door lock's keypad. The only confuse part is the instruction states to press the fingerprints for 2 times while the indicators shows 6. After contacted the vendor and realized the instruction has not been updated and should just tap for 6 times instead of 2.Overall, I am pretty happy with it and satisfy the features. Love to be able to use it remotely from anywhere anytime!
