After installation both back ports and the USB 3.x front ports and the front USB C 10 Gbps port work well. This PCIE card is unique and fills the need to support 10 Gbps ports front and back. I'm giving it a 4 star because the first one of these I installed was DOA. I deleted the one star rating the dud received. Amazon provided a replacement with free shipping. This one works perfectly and was installed exactly the same as the first dud.

I recently migrated a Dell Precision T3630 workstation's innards to an ASUS case. The T3630 motherboard's type-C connector was non-standard, so I needed this. It worked well to feed the front-panel connectors, and provided back-panel connectors as well. I'm happy with it. The USB notification sounds work fine, front and back. The performance with a USB 3.2 Samsung T7 is everything it ought to be, with either the C or the A-type ports. Comes with an additional low-profile slot-cover, if needed. No special drivers were necessary.
