I have been extremely impressed with these small flap discs. They fit perfectly on the mandrel for my angle die grinder. I have used them to clean up a number of flat ground areas as well as bevel redi-rod to allow for easier threading as well as some tight corner work before welding. These flap discs have really impressed me! The edge seems very strong as there is no fraying and I have done a significant amount of grinding with just the single disc! They are the perfect size to touch up small areas without the need to pull out the full size grinder. Great size between the Dremel and full size grinder.Overall, These discs have impressed me with their structural integrity and durability. I will definitely be purchasing these again when I need them!

I have been making my own disc this size because they are so hard to find.This is a must have tool for anyone working in confined places where power is needed to finish a job in time. Very very handy in working with wood and fiberglass.Very well made disc. Strong and stiff. Well balanced. They performed very well in my test on fiberglass. Excellent on soft medium wood as it has channels for cooling and debris deposit/release. Softwoods tend to clog flat sandpaper faster when used on power tools due to high speed. Then sand paper starts to burn as it cannot abrade any more. These discs tend to last longer and perform well.Note: it has a small bore and not standard one for angle grinders in North America. It needs an adapter.It fits easily on other tools like mastercraft rotary tool with flex extension.

Firstly, I am a DIYer. I don’t do much metal prep, and this alone may account for some of the issues I had with this product. My intent was to refinish an old, rusted wood stove using these flap discs.From the top, there is a discrepancy on the item page stating in one sentence the max rpm for this product is 30,000 rpm. A little further down, it says 20,000 rpm. The page further goes on to say not to exceed rpms printed on the back of the disc. All my discs were cloth-backed and had no writing on them at all.Next, and this is my fault, these discs are mini and only have a 3/8” arbor, while my angle grinder has a 5/8” arbor. There is no mandrel included with the product that would allow the discs to be used with a die grinder, but I was able to pick up a 1/4”x 3/8” mandrel at my local hardware store and got busy.The discs made short work of the rust and flaking paint and held up quite well. Of course, the more pressure applied, the shorter their lifespan. Their size was excellent for getting into all the creases and reliefs on the front of the stove and I highly recommend these discs, especially for more detailed work. I’m eager to try these on some woodworking projects next.

These discs perform admirably, effectively tackling medium to light-duty metal cleaning tasks with ease. Ideal for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts, they boast a flexible design and a compatible arbor size of 7/8 inches, fitting most angle grinders. One standout feature for me was the impressive lifespan of these discs.However, the missing essential specs info label could be something causing concern especially it had been found crucial information about the RPM limitation inconsistency in the Amazon description (It says 30000 RPM in the title but only 13300 RPM in the photo description).Upon receiving the delivery, I put these flat discs to the test while restoring a large antique GM 8.1L V8 big block engine. The engine had been painted in a color and style not used in the year of its manufacture. Previous attempts with chemical paint strippers fell short, but these mini discs proved to be the solution. I wholeheartedly recommend them—a great product well worth the investment.
