I have been using these clippers for quite a while so I thought I'd see exactly how long it's been. After checking my account I found out I've been using them for 8 years! I figure every time I trim one of my Yorkies with these clippers I save $100.00!! These small dogs need regular trimmings and the cost of a professional groomer has skyrocketed. My dogs hate going to groomer and since I started trimming them I have acquired all the tools like a stand to hold them on the table, professional scissors and pet hair dryer with flicker brush. I give groomers all the credit in the world. It's a tough job and they do it well, but I'm on a fixed income and look to save money whenever I can. If I make a mistake, it grows back. Not having to deal with a cord is a game changer. Recommend this brand.

El artículo es de muy buena calidad y es de mucha utilidad, viene completamente nuevo y con todos los aditamentos que indica la caja. En cuanto al servicio de amazon es muy bueno y siempre llega antes de la fecha indicada.

I have standard poodles of show quality. My stud dog has an exstreamaly thick coat. While I don't groom dogs for a living. I have been a licensed cosmitaliges for many years. After receiving these clippers I tested them out on my boy. I found them to have ample power to clip is very thick coat with no problem. After clipping his face, feet and sanitary are. That took me about 15 minutes, I decided to let them run and time how long they would run before needing to recharge them. As stated they ran a full 2 hours 1 hour and 52 minutes after I used them to clip him. I'm not sure how long they would run with ample performance if I needed to clip his whole body. However, I'm sure with them being quick charging that's not a big deal. I love the weight and how they fit in my hand. While they are not the most quiet clippers on the market. They do offer the power and run time as stated. Now for what I didn't like. The attachment combs are plastic and tend to give while clipping a dog with a thick coat. I would like to see the Wahl company offer this clipper with an option of metal snap on combs. Obviously for an additional coat. Talking about cost. Let's face it. These are a well made clipper for the money. That being said, if you want a quality clipper set for a very reasonable price. I would suggest this one. Keep in mind the quality of the motor and the battery is what is most important for long lasting performance.

Es un buen producto, pero tiene uno que estar retirando el peine de la navaja para estar limpiándolos constantemente por que deja de cortar o se detiene, por lo que se tarda uno en cortar el pelo. Mis perros son French y se les hacen bolitas que aunque se peine primero hay unas que se deben cortar.

Muy util para poder cortar rápido y sencillo a mi perrito, los complemetos ayudan bastante, se carga rápido y facil.

This is an update to my original review of 4 stars because at the time I had not actually used the clipper yet. I've never used a professional clipper before and honestly I was a bit intimidated, my biggest fear was that I might accidentally hurt my dog (Jack Russell Terrier with rough coat). The weather has finally turned hot (and humid) and it was time to cut his hair short for the summer. He HATES going to the groomer, even though it is only once a year for his summer comfort cut, so I decided to do it myself. WOW, lthe Wahl Professional Animal Pro Ion clipper is wonderful! It performs beautifully, is easy to use (even for a first-time novice) and did a great job on my dogs wiry, rough coat. The different sized clipped comb attachments make it easy to cut the exact length you want. After reading up on good quality clippers, I was worried about the clipper blade getting hot, but it never did. What a relief! I wanted it to be a good experience for my dog, and it turned out to be good for both of us! I watched the DVD provided first which was helpful. I used good grooming scissors to tidy up tricky areas. All went splendidly well and I love the Wahl clipper! Can't wait to use it again.

I was very overwhelmed with options and finally choose this one based other reviews. I did not want to have to deal with wires and wanted battery operated. I read other reviews and saw that this one holds a charge very well. It does! I love all of the attachments. I am new to grooming and had spent tons of money grooming our last poodle. I gradually worked more and more a little at a time with the puppy and she has gotten so good about the process and I am learning as well. The clips pop on and off really easy for changing. I have used it to groom the entire standard poodle and it did not slow down at all. I've groomed her three times now and that has paid for the clippers. I am very happy!

This is a really handy product. My puppy was a skittish at the grooming salon and the stylist was unable to get a nice even cut. With this I am able to trim his hair with a lot less fuss and no stress on his part since it is just me.The noise is there but its not so loud that it startles him. The fact that its cordless is a godsend because he does still move around a little bit so this way he doesn't get tangled up. I am positive he will get more used to it the more we use it.The description did say it came with a grooming dvd but my packaging did not include one. I was not really interested in watching the dvd anyways but the fact of the matter is that wasn't in there.
