I think tpu tubes are fantastic, and I have high hopes that these are no execption. The installation is a breeze just be sure to inflate the tube before installing - more specifically you should inflate it to roughly 5psi, but not higher than 8psi (it will inflate and form a good tire tube shape when around 5). I love the weight savings both in the wheels and in my saddle bag!If there are any issues or if the performance doesn't meet expectations, then I will update the review.

Just received them, haven't used them, will be saving them for an emergency, but from the looks of the product,t I do that with a little hesitation, considering how thin these innertubes are. They look like cellophane or a fruit roll-up on a stick! The fluorescent green color makes you think of sour apple !!!will come back when I use them!

I really like these tubes just for the size and weight alone. Even if you normally run rubber tubes, these make great spares because they take roughly 1/4 the size, and are a fraction of the weight.Install was almost the same as my regular rubber tubes. My one gripe with these tubes is that they have this flimsy little silicone ring to fit at the base of the valve stem. I think it's meant to help seal around the hole in the rim, but it does nothing to hold the stem in place, so pushing a pump head onto the stem can be annoying. If it had a threaded nut to hold the stem, it would be a 5-star product.I will note that because of the thinness of the material, it's easier to create a pinch flat. When I was mounting these, I was rushing and ended up creating a flat. Not really the tube's fault, but it's worth paying more attention when installing these. The included patches haven't impressed me so far. I used the supplied alcohol wipes and applied a patch on the aforementioned pinch flat, but after mounting and inflating I found the tube was leaky again. When I inspected, there was a small channel where the air had lifted the patch and forced its way out. To be fair, the leak was right on a crease, but I flattened the tube and made sure the patch was firmly adhered all the way around the hole. So, the patches might be enough to get you home, but I wouldn't trust them as a permanent repair.Because I now have one of these tubes and one rubber tube, it will be a good comparison for air retention. If I notice any dramatic difference, I'll update this review.

These tubes are super light and pack down small which is great for carrying spares but they’re a bit tricky to install and don’t seem as forgiving as regular butyl tubes I had one fail during setup which was frustrating the ride quality is decent and they do feel fast but I’m not totally confident in their durability for longer rides they’re fine if you want to save weight but not sure they’re worth the hassle for everyday use. The tire levers are garbage, they damaged my racing tires. The stems don't seem like they will hold up over time. And the tire does not hold the shape of a tire, one side bulges out more than the other.

Compared to standard butyl tubes, these WHEELO TPU tubes feel almost weightless, and when carried as spares, they pack down incredibly small and hardly take up any room in my saddlebag. The TPU material feels much different than butyl tubes, almost like a thin, flexible plastic. As a result of the low weight and compact size, they feel more delicate than traditional rubber. Only time will tell how these hold up to repeated use and road conditions compared to more robust butyl or premium TPU options. They feel like they require a bit more care when handling. While TPU can be patched, it's more prone to failure than butyl. I haven't had to patch one yet, so I can't comment on the real-world experience with these specific tubes. If you're a weight-conscious cyclist looking for a reduction in weight or a compact spare, the WHEELO TPU inner tubes are a reasonable option, especially given their low cost. Remember that they require more care during installation, and long-term durability is yet to be determined. A solid upgrade for the weight-conscious rider on a budget
