This is exactly what we needed for our new IKEA hood. We are using the non-vented install so these were required to be added. Easy to install to the inside of the metal filter that comes with the hood, as they are supposed to be installed. Also, the blue on the edges is a plastic film that you peel off. Other reviews complained about them being blue but they are not actually. Just silver aluminum. Comes with metal clips to attach to the outer grates. I took off a star because 1. They are pretty expensive and2. Come in a 3 pack, not 2 or 4. Kind of annoying.

Worked perfectly fit alright. Also helps get rid of any bad smells in the kitchen area.

First, I called the service center in the IKEA DATID Range Hood owner’s manual. They wanted the same price + $12.99 for shipping so I thought I was beating the system since I found it on Amazon Prime (save on shipping).After receiving and trying to make all 3 panel’s fit, I thought it was the wrong size, I sent it back and ordered directly from the owner’s manual as previously mentioned. IT WAS THE SAME THING.Finally, it clicked for me that the 3rd panel is just extra, and you clip 2 directly to the 2 grease filters. The photos included in the instructions in the DATID owner’s manual weren’t clear to me and it’s so simple that the writing was brief and doesn’t explicitly say “clip charcoal filter to grease filter.” So ultimately I hope this helps someone else “beat the system” aka save on shipping by using Prime.
