I had some gritty bones bearings that needed a cleaning. This bearing cleaner was easy to use. Just remove the wing nut, alternate bearings and spacers, then replace the wing nut. Fill about 1/3 or 1/2 with some isopropyl and give it a shake. The cap seals well, no leaks for me, but it would still be wise to do it over the sink or outside just in case. Dump the dirty alcohol, remove and dry out the bearings, add a drop of lube to each bearing, and you're good to go.It will only fit 8 bearings, so if you're cleaning quad rollerskates you'll need to clean them in two batches.Bearings are expensive so it's worth it to keep them clean. If you don't want to spend the money, you could always do a shake-clean in an old tupperware, but I found the price of this worth the ease of use and way cheaper than the name-brand solutions.

I've washed 2 sets of bearings with no issues. I don't see how ppl in the comments have had lid issues. It will probably leak holding upside down but who does that?!Worked as intended. Good buy!

This bearing cleaning kit does that which is advertised, but unless you're cleaning a large number of bearings, and frequently, you don't need it because it's superfluous, too large and bulky for what is does, and doesn't really provide value.

Love this thing, was super cheap. Will most likely last forever. The top does leak minimally out of the seal where the screw is on the lid. It’s nothing that’ll keep me up at night. Just pop the bearings in with your 91 or higher isopropyl or preferred cleaning solution and shake, I got the motion down perfectly already. then make sure to dry real well then add a few drops of good synthetic oil or speed grease. NO WD 40, It will not last!I’ve had this for so long no, the LID has not cracked whatsoever. A light snug tightening is all you need. Don’t be like the ogre in the video that’s posted with the cracked lid.
