This tablet holder is suitable for outdoor cycling, it has a short, robust ball mount, which won’t cause undue leverage at the tablet holder or bar mount. I am confident in using it, especially as the supplied rubber tablet net prevents the tablet from dislodging from the holder.The bar clamp has a rubber sleeve to prevent scratched, and it locks down firmly, using the large wheel nut.Once the tablet holder is in position, the whole device locks down securely, after which the tablet is inserted in the holder’s sprung claw.I recently reviewed another holder which, while being a sturdy product for stationary bikes, was not suitable for moving bikes on bumpy surfaces; this one is suitable due to its short ball mount. It is advertised as sturdy.I cannot vouch for the continuing efficacy of any tablet that endures massive vibrations from a MTB or touring bike. That is a matter of a user taking a risk with a tablet and not a criterion for this review. This is a review of a tablet holder.

Put this on my bike and use it as a giant GPS screen while biking around town.Thing is solid. The clamp itself is very strong that I don’t feel the need to add the rubber spider wrap most of the time. On gravel roads and other very bumpy terrain I do attach the spider web to the tablet for extra security on the tablet just in case but it doesn’t feel like it is 100% necessary most the time.Very nice rubber mounting system. 12 inch tablet that is about 2.5 pounds and it holds solid on a lightly bumpy road.

This tablet mount is well made and durable. Installation is super easy with no tools required, and your tablet or smartphone is held in place firmly, and can be angled to your preference.I used this mount on a bicycle and a treadmill. On the bicycle, my main use was recording videos of the bike rides, which was pretty cool. Listening to music was decent and the GPS was a nice feature to have onboard. On the treadmill I found watching videos, listening to music and reading digital content worked nicely.This mount is easy to move back and forth, it holds secure and it does its job well.
