I recently purchased the WYZE Cam OG 1080p HD Wi-Fi Security Camera, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home security setup! The camera delivers sharp 1080p video quality, both during the day and at night with color night vision. The built-in spotlight is a great feature, providing extra illumination when needed.The setup was straightforward, and the Wyze app is user-friendly, allowing me to customize settings such as motion detection zones and notifications. The two-way audio is clear, and I love being able to communicate through the camera. The camera also supports local and cloud storage, giving me flexibility in how I save my recordings.Overall, the WYZE Cam OG has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and value. I waited a while to write this review because, while these cameras and the phone app were great when they worked, the whole system would go offline inexplicably usually after two or three days. None of the fixes mentioned on the Wyze website or in forums helped. Apparently, lots of people have the same problem. Needing to restart the hotspot every few days to get things running again shouldn't be necessary. This was super exasperating, and I was in the process of rigging up a contraption to automatically restart the hotspot every day (just a timer won't do, it needs a manual button press too). Then, on my own, I discovered what I think is the fix. In your phone (Android), go to Settings, Apps, Wyze. Open Storage and Cache, and then Clear the Cache. I check my system a few times per day and clear the cache at least once a day. Since doing this, the system hasn't failed - it's been a few weeks now...knock on wood. Apparently, just like on a computer, everything can slow down and come to a grinding halt if cache gets too full, and I guess if this happens with Wyze it triggers a timeout and knocks the system off the network. Wyze needs to let people know about this. Other than that, another minor complaint is that the camera view sometimes says it's "Live" when it's not. Sometimes you need to refresh the camera view to get it to actually go live. Also, once in a while, recorded video can't be retrieved from the network. Not sure what's up with that, network is strong and stable...maybe something at Wyze's end. All in all, while there is room for improvement, the system is very easy to set up and works well now.

Me gusta que se puede poner en la pared, es práctica y tiene buena imagen. Es fácil conectarla y configurarla.

Supero mis espectativas, execelente imagen, buen sonido de retroalimentación, tiene funciones que otras cámaras no por ejemplo luz adicional para ver imágenes a color en modo noche y alarma. Es fácil de instalar y configurar.

WYZE Cam OG 1080p HD Wi-Fi Security Camera - Indoor/Outdoor, Color Night Vision, Spotlight, 2-Way Audio, Cloud & Local storage- Ideal for Home Security, Baby, Pet Monitoring - Alexa & Google AssistantI bought these to replace a few Blink cameras. Blink has been really really flakey and very poor detection and notifications. I bought one of these to try this out as trial. It's very cheap so why not?This isnt a comprehensive review since there are far too many on you tube out there. This is just a quick summary of things that are noteworthy1. Vastly superior to Blink. Why?--- Notifications are plenty and quick and can be customized. Blink is based on a HUB: each camera has to communicate to a HUB somewhere inside the house in order to relay the video to cloud and notify. This is not good. If ONE cam on the SAME hub is recording, the ENTIRE bank of cameras on the same hub is basically useless. So effectively you need one hub per camera!! Well Wyzecam is a stand alone system that connects directly to cloud without a hub. So every single camera you have in your home system is independent and can record and ship videos concurrently. Blink system is crippled with this older design and this is why i was missing a LOT of camera notifications. This is the primary reason I am now swapping to Wyzecam--- Video quality is superior and you can make out sharper details (like license plates!) Blink is HD too but the images are just subpar. You can adjust from HD to SD to 360p. Nice option for areas where your wifi is weaker you use 360p which seems very low res but it actually has a clean video .--- Live view is "quick" to launch and doesnt have a 30sec limit where you have to press "continue". Blink is really annoying with this, even when u have usb-powered unlimited power.2. Things that arent great about this wyzecam OG?--- Obviously Blink is fully battery powered with a lithium AA pair. This is excellent and battery lasts around 1 year for me thru Canadian winter. Wyze cam OG requires wired power. This is a big limiting factor.-- Secondly, You need a paid subscription per camera (or something like 179$ for up to 99 cams). ONLY when you get a paid subscription, this is useful. Otherwise you get snapshots of events, not video. You can store locally on SD card i guess but its a real PAIN to get it off the camera. ( you either remove the sd card which is not ideal -- or from app wirelessly stream from sd card to internet to phone app but this is really slow buggy and unreliable). Blink gives you at least video "events" without pay.-- As i mentioned before video "live" view on blink has 30sec limit and is very slow to engage but wyze cam OG is is fairly quick and has no limits in time but all of this is prefaced on precondition of excellent wifi coverage. With marginal coverage, live-view is painful and the video is really really really choppy and unusuable. THE SAME can be said for Blink too. However, since Wyze has SD card option and doesnt need any hub? the advantage here is that WYZE can still record with spotty wifi and then once connected it will eventually upload photo or video events to cloud. Blink simply misses.So to conclude, is there space for both blink and wyze cam OG in your space? yes. I would use blinkcam for areas you need occasional supervision where power is not available so full wireless setup is needed -- Blink is only good for event feeds not live-streaming. I will not abandon Blink because of this. It does an OK job in areas that have less action. In heavy action areas, where you do have power, wyze OG is vastly superior and also costs less thank blink cams at the time of writing especially since you dont need a Hub.I will add one more wrinkle to the review. I use both blink and wyze OG in my house for different tasks but i also use Googlenestcam for ultimate surveillance and live-view continual streams (the cost is a factor since these are 3x the price of blink/wyze cams). Having all three systems work together with its strengths is the best combo in my opinion.Hope this helps!!!

Tras un par de semanas de correcto uso la cámara empezó a desconectarse de forma intermitente (cada 10-25 segundos) y por ende, a dejar de transmitir. Realice todas las acciones indicadas por el soporte de Wyze para este tipo de problema incluyendo actualización del firmware, ciclo de apagado de energía eléctrica, reubicación por cercanía al router y reinicio del mismo, hasta el reseteo de fábrica pero todo lo anterior no funcionó y la cámara continuó con el mismo problema por lo que procedí a la devolución.Cabe señalar que una cámara similar con las mismas características que adquirí previamente, funciona adecuadamente.

Esta cámara es increíble tiene una resolución buenisima y considero que es de las mejores de la marca.

No se puede utilizar sin suscripción, he intentando utilizar diferentes tarjetas Micro sd, desde baratas hasta high endurance, desde 32 hasta 128 gb, y termina siempre por no leerlas y corromperlas hasta hacerlas inútiles, háganse un favor y no la compren
