One of my best purchases for my 2020 Wrangler 2 Door JL. No water drip at drivers door from roof gutter. Works as designed.

So simple that makes you wonder why the factory didn't do it. Now I know why.Somewhat reduced the problem (probably 25% solution). The reason is where the water that ends up in your car actually comes from. There are grooves on the sides blocked by this insert, but there is a lot (MOST) of water coming from the front edge of the roof bypassing that side groove. The real problem why you have water issue is because the hard top is not flat - it has a bunch of ribs on the top and a slight decline towards the front. The ribs prevent the water from the roof from going to the sides, and most of it goes towards the front and and sideways right to the corner of the front door where it drips straight into the vehicle. The complete solution would be to install the other kind with elongated grove, but it does not survive aerodynamic pressure and always comes off on the highway.

Installed these a few days ago, they are still holding on fine but after finally getting a good rain here and I still have the same water fall I had before installing these. Do not work. Do not solve the issue. Ive spent more on less useful things but just trying to save someone the time and money by an honest review
