I needed a 36kg kettlebell specifically for one-arm swings, at least for my immediate need with a specific plan I designed for a specific purpose, and I didn't feel like spending the money on my usual brand. I also wanted it a little faster and Amazon could deliver quickly. I looked at a few options and chose this as the lesser evil. I had my doubts, and those doubts were confirmed when it arrived. The weight was a little light at 79.1 lbs or 35.9 kg. It's close enough to 36kg for me, and within +/- 1kg is fine, but the complainer types who want exactly the advertised 80 lbs weight may be annoyed by that. The handle is thicker than normal at just over 44mm (1.75"). All my other heavy range kettlebells are 38-39mm. It's not bad, just something to be aware of if it's important to you. You will notice it. The bizarre part of the design though is the shape of the handle. It is extremely wide and oddly shaped. It took effort not to contact my knee with the handle while doing one-arm swings. (To level-set, I'm 5'11" and have been practicing with kettlebells for 25 years. I know how to swing a kettlebell. I have eight other kettlebells that don't have these design issues.) The horns of the bell stick out over 1" past the side of the bell on each side. This makes it impractical and unsafe to do anything overhead including presses, jerks, snatches, or getups. Proper grip for presses is to have the heel of the palm in the corner of the horn, and this weird shape puts your hand and wrist in a bad position. Even just racking the bell feels strange. The thickness of the handle and the weird wide shape mean that notably more metal is in the handle which moves the centre of gravity much higher (i.e. towards the handle) than it should be. It's simply a strange design. If all you do is two-arm swings, maybe this will be okay for you, depending on how long your legs are and how wide you can make your stance without impacting your form. The quality and construction itself isn't bad, and I think the finish would hold up for longer than what I usually see for bells in this price range. But the odd design and the resulting performance and safety impacts are unacceptable for me. Amazon is graciously processing my return.Another thing I found simultaneously hilarious, disturbing, and disappointing -- Every single kettlebell I looked at on Amazon has photos of people demonstrating it using terrible form or doing things you don't (or at least shouldn't) do with kettlebells. If you do choose a kettlebell from Amazon, I would say please don't do anything you see people in the photos doing. Horrific.

I am not an excitable person. But when I opened up the package and seen that beautiful kettle bell. I think my heart skipped a beat. I am flabbergasted. Not to mention that from the time of purchase till I received it was only a few short days. Fast friendly delivery service too.

It's a Kettlebell. Nothing fancy. No rubber coatings to wear off. It will last forever LOL. Does the job.

A lovely beast to add to the fleet. Shipping was a little slow, but considering it probably threw out at least one delivery guy's back, that's nothing to complain about.
