For $9 the selection is perfect to begin deciding what type of 'pin stripes' I want to do on my small pottery pieces. The rolls come together and they look like one role but when you open up the cellophane there are the four different sizes each separated with a non-sticky liner.Once I found the beginning of the thinnest I held the end and that end was a little bit less sticky when I tried to put it on the bisque clay.. I hunt it was from my fingers which are a little bit dusty from glaze. What I did was pull on the tape just a little bit as I unrolled it and then I pressed with my other hand to push it onto the clay. When the three coats of glaze were almost fully dry I began lifting it and it came off like a charm.. No breaking no problems. The edges have a little bit of flake but once the glaze is fully dry I'll use a soft brush and brush those away.So far so good!

Now, I haven't stress-tested this tape all the way, so I'm still unsure how it holds up when painting clean lines, etc. But I have used it to mask off some areas on some models I was painting, and it held well. Goes on smooth and doesn't peel up.The assortment of sizes is great - aside from hobby stores, they are sizes of masking tape that you don't really see much. The only challenge is that the roll size is the same as standard masking tape -- which is a generous size, dont' get me wrong -- it makes the skinnier widths a little tough to maneuver. I think I need to get one of those tape dispensers that is for wide masking tape and just put all four of these on it for convenient dispensing.Four widths, and a lot of tape on each roll for $9 is a heck of a good deal though!

I absolutely love using this tape! It’s been a total game-changer when it comes to painting fine details, especially on tricky surfaces like wood and tile finishes. The precision it allows makes those small, delicate areas so much easier to manage, and the results look so much cleaner and more professional.Just a quick heads-up: when you first get the tape, the rolls might be stuck together. Don’t worry though—if you gently press them into an oval shape, they come apart without much effort. It’s a simple trick that works surprisingly well.My wife has actually started brainstorming how she might use it for some of her crafting projects too. It sticks nicely when you need it to, peels off cleanly without leaving residue, and overall feels like a quality product. Plus, for the price, it’s a fantastic value.

The manufacturer clearly took a large wide roll of tape and then with great precision, cut that down to several widths. Certainly makes production cost effective and I can honestly say it doesn't make the tape less resilient or less accurate for masking. The true test of a tape for my hobby, which is plastic scale car models, is how much residue is left behind when you remove the tape. this tape does leave some residue, however, if you put it on your forearm first, then apply it to your model, it will leave zero residue when you remove it.

I got this for doing some pin stripe jobs with powder coating, and it's working out ok so far, but not ideal. I think it would be better suited for actual paint stripes. My designs didn't need crazy curves so it worked out ok. For the money this is better than some of the fancy airbrushing pinstriping tape, but if you're really serious just get a roll of the better stuff. The tape was easy to lay down and stuck well enough. It did not cut as cleanly as I wanted it to. I removed the tape before baking the powdercoat, as this stuff would not be good in the heat.
