I have POTS and needed somewhere to sit while I shower and this bench was perfect. It was easy to put together and it serves its purpose well. I only gave it 4 stars because I’ve only had it a couple of months and it’s starting to chip in some places, leading me to question the quality of materials used.

I was a little worried to buy this because of some bad reviews but I figured I could return it if it wasn't good. I love it. It was easy to put together and very sturdy. I have it on the outside of my shower so its not directly getting wet. It looks really nice in my bathroom.

Based on how the product feels and previous reviews, I would not use this IN the shower. It feels like it would absorb moisture and degrade quickly. I wanted to put a bench where I can apply lotion in my bathroom and it looks very good where it is located. It is a place where I can keep the towel I use outside the shower instead of over the shower. It functions perfectly as a bench where I can sit and holds my weight. Super sturdy and does not creak. The size is not too big to take up the walking room in the bathroom. I don't find myself bumping into it. With the added carpet it adds some style to what I was going for. As for assembly, do not tighten all the way until everything is put together. If you tighten with each piece, the slots and holes will not line up correctly. It does require a bit of patience. I used my own tools and at times the included allen wrench for the areas with low clearance. I was not a fan of all the piece stickers as they did not peel clean. It is a good purchase overall . Slightly expensive for the size but it is exactly what I needed. I bit longer would have been nice but it's the perfect sitting height for me since I am 5' 3".

When I first received then bench I was pretty impressed. Putting it together was simple and the bench seemed much more sturdy then others I have seen. But the happy stops there.After only having this bench in the shower for a few weeks, the paint is already peeling and it is starting to rust.For a bench that is made specifically for the shower, this seems like a huge flaw in the design.
